Our family rarely takes to the movie theater: it costs too much, Meridian’s theater just isn’t a good experience, & we normally don’t have time. But during the holiday season, we had better theaters available, there were some movies that we wanted to see and we’re glad we took a trip to the theater.
Skyfall > I’m a huge James Bond fan. And for a Bond fan, Skyfall was a treat. My wife, kids, and mother-in-law had a great time at the theater in Starkville. And of course, what’s a good movie without great music.
The Hobbit > My son & I are big fans of hobbits, elves, & dwarfs. So we went to see The Hobbit w/ my brother in Hattiesburg. Can’t wait for the next one to come out.
Les Miserables > Being the musicians we are, seeing Les Mis was a must. So we took to the theater in Tupelo w/ the mother-in-law again. And I must say, it’s the best musical on film I’ve ever seen. Who would have thought that Wolverine was a great tenor?
