6 Straight for SEC

The National Championship Game is near about impossible to predict. Bama and LSU are really closely matched. Both are very conservative and strong enough to wait most teams out till they make a mistake. Will Miles or Saban take some risks to try and gain an edge? Or do they do like the last game, that ended 6-3 in OT, hoping the other makes the first mistake? After watching the bowl games played so far, there’s absolutely no doubt in my mind that LSU and Bama are the 2 best teams in the country. This should be an interesting game to watch. And after watching some of the sorry defense we’ve seen in some bowl games (Orange, Alamo, Rose, etc.) I’ll be just fine with another 6-3 game. What say you?

Another question is raised with this game as well: Who is the best college coach in football? The winner of this game could very well claim that honor. College coaches have such a huge responsibility. Listen to the conversation Rick & Bubba had this morning about the relationship between players and coaches.

Just wandering how much LSU’s Jefferson costs Alabama. The way he played, you would think he was on Bama’s payroll. That was about the worst game I have seen played during this post game season. What a rematch for the hype it was given! Maybe next year State will be in the Championship game. If the Dawgs had played LSU last night, I believe they would have beaten the tigers. Heck, I believe Clarkdale could have beaten the LSU Tigers last night!

  2. We can’t ignore how good Bama’s defense is. But you’re right, stooge. Jefferson made Relf look good. He was a deer in headlights the whole game. It was obvious that LSU was not mentally prepared for this game. They had a bad game plan and never tried to change it. Maybe next year will be our year to finally beat LSU. That loss may effect them into next season.

My thoughts on the current state of college football. The best football is played during the regular season. The bowl games this year were horrible, including ours. We didn’t deserve to beat Wake Forest. Wake Forest is just that weak of a team. Giving teams a break to take exams is overrated. Other divisions find ways to get the academics done. I’m not saying throw the bowl games away, but why can’t we play them all within a week and be done on New Year’s Day? I was totally as disinterested in the game last night as LSU. I’m wore out w/ college football after these bowls.

I’m glad today that there are other radio stations to listen to besides the Paul Finebaum Show. Can you imagine the BS on there today. I hope he has his boots on! LOL

Its no better anywhere right now, Its either praise for Saban and Bama, or its hating of Miles and his decision. Come on give it a rest already, We all knew it was just a matter of time before he made some bad calls. He made it this far into the season with out them. Unfortunatly for LSU, they happened at the worst time. Hiow do you not make adjustments, I thought thats what they paid the coaches for. Call me crazy, but if Im paying that much money for them to do that, I think a refund might be in order fo those none calls!!

Guys keep Mathiston and his family in your prayers. His grandmother went to be with the Lord early this morning.

  5. Well that’s an answer to prayer. I don’t know what Mathiston’s grandma was dealing w/, but going to heaven is perfect healing.

Amen Buzz, she had a stroke and then complications after. Mathis was telling me last night that his cousin was in the room with her and she was looking at the ceiling saying lightly, My Lord,My Lord! over and over again! Makes you feel kinda giddy knowing that we follow the Truth, the Light and the Way!!
